Nyligen så meddelade Paramount att hela DS9-serien kommer att släppas på DVD under 2003. Säsong 1 kommer i en DVD-box under februari 2003. DS9-boxen kommer att innehålla 6 diskar med hela säsong 1, en hel del extra material och hela godbiten är remixad i Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround.

Boxen innehåller följande:

Disc 1: "Emissary," "Past Prologue," "A Man Alone"

Disc 2: "Babel," "Captive Pursuit," "Q-Less," "Dax"

Disc 3: "The Passenger," "Move Along Home," "The Nagus," "Vortex"
